New Act Mondays: Laughs, Beats and Gypsy Jazz Covers

When you’re one of the UK’s leading suppliers of entertainment, a new week can mean only one thing: new acts! Each week we add three new acts to our website, each of which are available to book for events, weddings, private parties… whatever you have planned.

This week we’ve got a great selection that takes in comedy, clubbing and quirky jazz covers. Read on to find out more…

DANIEL J NIGHTINGALE

Comedy lovers of Manchester will be familiar with The Frog and Bucket’s regular ‘Beat the Frog’ night, which sees aspiring stand-ups attempt to make it through a five minute set without being voted off by the audience and treated to a chorus of croaks. An interesting fact about Daniel Nightingale is that he invented the night after having risen through the ranks from starting work in the venue’s bar. As such he’s a familiar face on the North West comedy circuit, and is about to make a full scale assault on the events industry too. Just maybe without all the frogs.

E.M.A

What do acts like Rudimental, Fun Lovin Criminals, Brandon Block, Kimberley ‘Pussycat Dolls’ Wyatt and Howard ‘Mr Nice’ Marks have in common? They’ve all been supported by top club DJ E.M.A who, wouldn’t you know it, is now available for event bookings all over the UK. So, you think you know more about music than Brandon Block? You think you know more about music than the Fun Lovin’ Criminals? You think you know more about music than Huey from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals!? 6 Music, Saturdays, 10am – 1pm!? No, no I thought not.

ZE TRIO

Every now and again, our fancy schmancy sister agency from ‘that London’ Sternberg Clarke give us a sisterly nudge and say ‘ere, check these out…’ And though technically, we’re the older, cooler sister who knows all the cool bands, we have to admit, the little upstarts are right on this one. If you’ve ever wondered ‘what would Django Reinhardt make of Britney Spears’ Toxic’, Ze Trio have the answer, and they’re happy to roam around your event showing people that answer with delightful three-part harmonies and plenty of old-timey charm.

That’s it for this week, but we’ll be back next Monday with more amazing new acts. In the meantime, be sure to follow us on Twitter for more entertainment tips, tricks and suggestions.
