Our recent blog post revealed all of our showcases for 2020. The first event is next week in the sunny seaside town of Eastbourne and we can hardly wait! Below we run through the acts that you can look forward to including magic, music and more!
Our Eastbourne showcase will take place at the historic Majestic Hotel which is just a stone’s throw from the sea. We have already arranged for auditions to run from 11.30am until 4pm and cannot wait to see the entertainment that the region has to offer. Having provided entertainment to numerous events and hotels in Eastbourne over the years, we know that West Sussex is filled with talent! After all, Eddie Izzard went to Eastbourne College and we all know how talented he is!
The showcase itself will begin at around 7.30pm and run through to 10.30pm with an interval at the halfway stage. It is guaranteed to be an extraordinary evening of entertainment and the best bit? It is completely free! You just have to get yourself to the venue in order to enjoy this fabulous occasion.
“Who’s on the bill?” we hear you ask. Partly we think it’s always best if the event is a surprise but we will reveal some names! The incredible Alex Lodge will be performing magic and illusions. Perhaps best known for his appearances on Britain’s Got Talent he is sure to leave you amazed. In addition to Alex, we also have the multi-voice musical impressionist Jennie Castell! Able to morph between Leona Lewis, Cher and even Shirley Bassey, expect the unexpected!
Finally we thought we should mention the brilliant Sherry Dolls! Close your eyes whilst they are on stage at the Eastbourne Showcase and you’ll believe that Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are in the room! A tremendous act, they’ll have you tapping your feet along to songs including Big Girls Don’t Cry, December 1963 (Oh, What a Night!) and Working My Way Back To You.
It’s sure to be a wonderful evening down in Eastbourne and we cannot wait to see you there!
