New Act Mondays: Romance, Mime and Rebel Sounds

It’s a brand new week and as always, that means three brand new acts on our website. This week we’ve got our usual mix of the weird, the wonderful and the unexpected, and best of all, each of these acts is available to book for weddings, corporate events and private parties.

So without further ado, let’s meet some new acts…

LOVESTRUCK

Valentines Day may be a mere glint on the horizon, but it never hurts to plan ahead. So we thought that now would be a good time to introduce Lovestruck; an illuminated heart-shaped rig that makes the perfect backdrop for eye-catching live performances. Whether it’s an Alice in Wonderland themed cabaret show, a romantic musical performance, or even just a backdrop for guests photos, Lovestruck is a versatile themeing option that can work at all kinds of events.

TAPE FACE

While the name might sound like a C-list Batman villain who’s calling card is… I dunno… leaving tape on his victim’s faces… or making faces out of tape on empty bank vaults… Tape Face is in fact a world-renowned cabaret sensation mixing mime, circus, puppetry and the films of Patrick Swayze (no spoilers) to create a hilarious and truly inventive show.

THE REBEL SOUNDS

Plenty of bands out there bill themselves as “the Ultimate Party Band” but we’re happy to say we can vouch for the quality of this superb Leeds-based outfit. Key to their “ultimate-ness” is their staggering versatility, able to offer a wide range of line-ups playing everything from chilled out lounge music to floor-filling party hits.

That’s all for this week but for the latest in entertainment ideas, tips and tricks, be sure to follow us on Twitter.
