New Act Mondays: Champagne, Roses and Belles

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, we’ve decided to devote this week’s New Act Monday blog to all things romantic. Or rather, three things romantic. So strap in for all the red-and-white-and-pink-heart-shaped-petal-covered gloopiness you’d associate with the holiday that’s either a big deal or isn’t, depending on who you speak to and how their love life is going at that moment.

CHAMPAGNE RAIN

For too long, bartending has been confined to the horizontal plane, with drinks served at a grindingly predictable eye-level by floorbound staff. This Valentine’s Day, we’re putting an end to this x-axis drudgery and injecting some much needed verticality into proceedings with Champagne Rain, an aerial twist on bartending. Our aerialists serve champagne (the most romantic drink) to guests while suspended from above (the most romantic place to hang from while holding a bottle of champagne) at your event.

LOVE BELLES

One of the things you quickly find out when you set out in a career in entertainment is that there’s a stilt walker for every occasion. Summer parties, Christmas, bar / bat mitzvahs, sporting events, state funerals, wicker man ceremonies, corporate awards nights… the staggering array of costumes on offer means that stilt walkers are endlessly versatile and adaptable for events. Take The Love Belles, a match made in heaven for Valentine’s events thanks to their bright, playful costumes which a striking visual element to any romantic evening.

ROSE GLOBE

Just because Christmas is out of the way and Spring is on the horizon, doesn’t mean we’re about to put the old inflatable Snowglobe into mothballs for the rest of the year. Who says it needs to be a snow globe for starters? What if instead of a pair of acrobats performing in a globe full of falling snowflakes, it was a pair of acrobats performing in globe full of falling rose petals? Why, it sounds like you’d have an entertainment concept that was perfect for romantic Valentine’s Day events. And you’d have found a smart use for that big inflatable dome you’ve had lying around. Yes, that one.

So that’s it for this week, but if you’re on the lookout for more great entertainment ideas; be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all the latest from Trevor George Entertainment.
