New Act Mondays: Brothers of Blues, Cats of Midnight, Hosen aus Leder

Congratulations, reader! You made it through another weekend and you’ve got a whole new week ahead of you. If you’re planning an event – be that corporate or private – Monday comes with the added bonus of being the day that we, the good folks at Trevor George Entertainment, add three brand spanking new acts to our website.

This week we’ve got Bavarian oompah, brotherly blues as well as some irresistible pop and funk. Read on to find out more…

BIRMINGHAM BLUES BROTHERS

Imagine for a moment, that rather than tearing around the United States on their ‘mission from God’, Jake and Elroy were playing the blues and getting involved in multi-car pile-ups in the Midlands. Maybe instead of rubbing shoulders with Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and James Brown, they’d cross paths with Noddy Holder, Frank Skinner and Dion Dublin… Thankfully The Birmingham Blues Brothers aren’t anything like that. They’re a superb, authentic tribute to the music and characters of the beloved cult classic that’s perfect for corporate events and private parties.

THE MIDNIGHT CATS

What do cats get up to when they go out at night? If you ask this Manchester-based function band, they’d probably say something about delivering floor-filling pop, funk and disco to adoring audiences at events. And while that might seem like a strange answer to a stupid question, it does give a pretty clear idea of what The Midnight Cats are all about.

BRASSWURST

As it’s October, we thought now was a good time to introduce Brasswurst; the North West’s premier German beer band who are absolutely perfect for Oktoberfest-themed events. Granted, the actual Oktoberfest starts in late September and runs to the first weekend of October, so we’ve missed it by a couple of weeks. But as they (possibly) say in Deutschland “es ist immer nächstes Jahr”.

That’s all for this week, but we’ll have three new acts added to the site next Monday. In the meantime, be sure to follow us on Twitter for all the latest entertainment news, tips and ideas.
