Okay, top band Kings of Leon actually sang Sex on Fire way back at the tail end of the 2000s but even so, it clearly caused a spark to catch alight in the head of one of our top saxophonists who promptly went away and came up with his insanely brilliant act, Flaming Sax. Sometimes we have acts contact us and we have no idea what they do from their name. Ordinarily it’ll be a band with an interesting approach to naming themselves but this is definitely not the case with Flaming Sax which does exactly what it says on the tin (to steal a phrase from the infamous Ronseal tagline). What you see it what you get; a sax that is on fire. Our wonderfully costumed saxophonist is able to play tunes for only a short time due to the nature of the act but the results speak for themselves!
