What exactly do stilt walkers do, aside from standing around, having to smile each time somebody asks what the weather is like up there? Put simply, they are greeters and also a great advertisement for your pop-up event, as well as coming in all different shapes and sizes. You can spot stilt walkers from far away and be honest, if you can see a stilt walker in a usually quiet area of town, you will pop over to see what’s going on. Especially if there seems to be the added promise of free stuff!
Costumed Characters
Along the same sort of lines as a stilt walker, booking a costumed character is sure to entertain passers-by. Since you are reading this online, we have no idea what it is that your pop-up might be selling or offering to the public, but you yourself must have an idea. If it were football boots, why not book a lookalike? If you are hosting an event that invites people into the past, then hiring a Victorian couple to cajole potential clientele may be just the thing!
