Conjuring the spirit of prohibition-era America, the Leeds City Stompers play the vintage American blues, ragtime, swing and folk music of the early 20th Century, but with the energy and feel of modern rock and roll music. With real 1920s drum kits, slapped double bass, metal resonator guitars and three-part vocal harmonies, the band offer their own modern twist on a classic sound.
Whether it’s a raucous set of well known songs to fill the dance floor, or a completely acoustic performance at a vintage themed event, the band’s passion, energy and quirky instrumentation set them apart from the pack.
