Award winning Manchester-based wedding singer and pianist
A trained opera singer and classical pianist, Janny Sawdon graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music having won the Elsie Thurston, John Wray and Kate Snape prizes for singing, she was then awarded a scholarship for post-graduate study from the Peter Moores Foundation. Now a professional singer and pianist performing at events and concerts all over the UK, Jenny’s extraordinary talent and ability have led to her winning Bridal Magazine’s ‘Wedding Singer of the Year’ as well as Country Bride Magazine’s ‘Best Entertainment Act’ on two separate occasions.
Though she’s performed at Old Trafford for the Champion’s League Final and works as a rehearsal vocalist for the celebrity coaches on ‘The Voice’, performing at weddings has always remained Jenny’s true passion. With a wide repertoire and uniquely beautiful voice, Jenny makes every wedding she appears at that little bit more special.
