New Act Mondays: Bands, Bubbles and Shrubs

A new week is upon us, but the good new is January’s nearly over. That is, good news unless you’re way into January, which is cool by us. Tell you what else is cool by us; new acts for weddings, events and private parties. So cool in fact, that we devote a weekly blog to the newest additions to our website. ‘But where can I read this blog?’ you might ask, and we would reply ‘But, friend! You are already reading it!’ and we would all laugh heartily.

So without further ado, let’s meet the new additions to the Trevor George family.

ANDY OTLEY & HIS BAND

Fronted by the charismatic Mr Otley, Andy Otley & his Band are a slick, talented and professional function band for weddings and events. Such is the band’s reputation for providing floor filling tunes at weddings that their weekends are booking up faster than you can say ‘do you know any Phil Collins?’ (they do), so it’s worth checking them out well in advance if you’re planning your big day.

JESSE – BUBBLEOLOGIST

With a burst-class degree in Bubbleology from the University of Suds-bury, Jesse shot to fame in academic bubbling circles thanks to her paper ‘Practical Applications of Large Bubbles on Event Guests’ in which she posited the theory that a person’s enjoyment of an event can be increased dramatically by blowing a big ol’ bubble around them. Eager to put her theory into practice, Jesse left the world of soap based academia to pursue a career in events, where she now offers spellbinding bubble shows that captivate both children and adults.

THE POTHEADS

Costumed meet and greet characters performing quirky street theatre with shrubs instead of heads? What are these guys smoking?! Nothing. Nothing. Let’s be absolutely clear: nothing. Our contracts forbid any of that. It’s quite clear, we’re very firm. We don’t want any misunderstanding about what we’re offering here. The Potheads are quirky costumed characters with shrubs for heads, and that’s the end of that. Hey, look… legalise it, don’t legalise it; we’re neutral on the issue. Either way, the contract isn’t changing. These guys are just good clean fun with little shrubs for heads.

So that’s it for this week, but if you’re hankerin’ for more entertainment ideas; be sure to head over to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all the latest from Trevor George Entertainment.
