Kevin Michaels is that delighful combination of personality and talent so rarely found. It is his cheeky schoolboy sense of humour and warmth which first charms an audience before amazing them with his accurate impressions.

Kevin Michaels entered show business at the age of seventeen, gaining experience by appearing at holiday parks and social clubs the length and breadth of the UK.

In 1992 Kev was asked to appear on Central TV’s ‘Pot of Gold’. Although this was his first television appearance, he showed professionalism and composure beyond his years. Des O’Connor described him as “A young man with a very bright future”.

This appearance opened new doors for Kev bringing more offers of work. During his 1994 summer season Kev was seen by BBC Executive producer Kevin Bishop. Such was Kev’s performance that it prompted Kevin Bishop to say on record “It is not often these days that you see an act that has the talent, ability and necessary ingredients to become a star. Kev has all the qualities in abundance and I’m sure that in a few years time we will be seeing a lot more of him on our TV screens.”.

This prediction was proved correct. 1995 saw Kev joining Sky TV’s ‘Who Do You Do?’ team. Kev made thirty-five successful appearances working alongside The Grumbleweeds, Hilary O’Neal and Mike Osman to name a few, giving Kev invaluable television experience.

1997 saw the return of Kev to our screens where after winning his heat, he became the smash comedy hit of London Weekend Television’s live final of the ‘Big Big Talent Show’. The Sun newspaper critic Garry Bushell wrote “Kev does more take offs than a 747″.

Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe observed “Kev could be the next Bobby Davro”.

During the same year, Kev was asked to appear on ITV’s ‘Talking Telephone Numbers’. This appearance brought a very special request from Buckingham Palace for Kev to perform at the Royal Christmas Ball.

Apart from working extensively for Thomson Gold Hotels, cruising for Airtours and P&O, Kev has toured with Joe Pasquale, Bradley Walsh, Freddie Starr and Joe Longthorne, as well as providing support for Bobby Davro, Frank Carson, Shane Ritchie, Cannon & Ball, Jethro and Danni Minogue.
