Other television credits include Rising Stars, Opportunity Knocks, Starburst and The Krypton Factor. He has toured in clubs and variety theatres with such names as Ken Dodd, Bob Monkhouse, Victoria Wood, Larry Grayson and Frankie Howard. Whilst working with Ken Dodd, Adam Daye was asked to become Doddy’s “Character Voice Man” in series 3 of Ken Dodd’s Palace Of Laughter on BBC Radio 2.
Adam also wrote and starred in his own Christmas special, entitled All In A Daye, for BBC Radio Devon. Adam has extensive experience in holiday entertainment, having appeared countrywide for most major touring companies including Butlins, Pontins, Warners, and in recent years has specialised in entertaining adult audiences for the Shearings Hotel Group. He has also cruised for P&O in the Caribbean. Adam has appeared in 30 professional productions to date and he wrote, directed and starred in four productions for Oakwood Leisure in South Wales.
Whilst enjoying a successful career in several aspects of the entertainment industry, Adam still harbours an ambition to appear in both drama and situation comedy on television.
